Key information

Developer Shizuka Miyoshi released a demo for the PC title Patricide on Steam on October 7, 2026. The game is scheduled to participate in the Steam Next Fest event running from October 20 to October 27.

Patricide is a 3D adventure RPG set in modern Japan that explores the love and hatred of girls who killed their fathers. The full version is slated for a December release with a price of 2530 yen including tax.

The demo offers approximately one hour of gameplay, following the character Tsubaki from a summer festival to a hospital. A core mechanic is the emotion system, which allows players to empathize with enemies to weaken them. Successful empathy can charm foes, potentially causing them to attack each other.

Battles blend action and turn-based elements, offering high freedom for unique strategies. Exploration yields items and equipment, while story progression unlocks new emotions and special abilities gained through leveling up.
