Key information
British magazine LOVE Magazine has dedicated its new cover to Grand Theft Auto VI, publishing unreleased images of protagonists Lucia and Jason. One particular image features the characters sitting face to face in a restaurant, which was highlighted by user Synaptic on X as taking place at the exact same table, window, and area seen in the massive 2022 development leak.
The location is Hank's Waffles, the café featured in a September 2022 leaked video where Lucia and Jason robbed the establishment and faced police while an excavator was visible outside through the windows. Rockstar previously revisited the location officially during an extended gameplay video shown in August, displaying a finished version of the robbery.
It remains unknown whether choosing this specific restaurant corner for promotional imagery is a deliberate reference to the leak or simply part of the story, but the prominent coincidence turns a location once prematurely exposed into a promotional backdrop. Grand Theft Auto VI is developed and published by Rockstar Games and is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
