Key information

Fuse Games has released Star Wars: Galactic Racer, a racing title set after Star Wars IV: Return of the Jedi. Players control a new character named Shade, who joins a galactic racing league to defeat Kestar Bool and avenge an invasion of Shade's home planet, as Gamebrott reviewed.

According to Gamebrott, the game combines racing with rogue-like elements, featuring League Tokens as lives. Players select from vehicles like Landspeeders, Speeder Bikes, and Skim Speeders, plus an iconic Podracer available in specific areas, alongside 14 unlockable classes and character favors.

Gamebrott stated that races involve Afterburner and Ramjet boosts across various planets with distinct environmental effects like lava, snow, and acid water. Gamebrott praised the smooth controls and high replayability, noting that tokens are only lost upon failing to finish.

Gamebrott recommended the title to fans of Star Wars racing games and crash-heavy racing experiences, highlighting the roguelike-racing combination and track variety.
