Key information
Beats, a brand acquired by Apple, has officially announced a collaboration with Pokémon to release a special edition Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker. This new product features designs inspired by Mimikyu and Pikachu and is scheduled to go on sale on October 15 at 11:00 PM.
The speaker features a gray chassis decorated with an illustration of Mimikyu standing in front of a confused Pikachu. This design choice reflects the mysterious relationship between the two Pokémon, with Mimikyu famously wearing a Pikachu-like disguise to gain popularity.
The device includes a custom 3D packaging box where the ears of both Pokémon can be stood upright. Inside the box, buyers will find the speaker, a carrying lanyard adorned with a Poké Ball, and a set of limited-edition stickers. The hardware maintains standard Beats Pill specifications, including IP67 dust and water resistance and a 24-hour battery life.
Due to regional restrictions often associated with Pokémon-branded electronics and the rarity of Beats releasing such collaborations in Taiwan, it is uncertain if the product will be available locally. Interested fans may need to rely on third-party purchasing services to acquire the item.
