Key information
Capcom scheduled an update for Dragon's Dogma 2 on October 9, arriving alongside the Dark Arisen expansion for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Switch 2 version will release directly with Dark Arisen and incorporate all previous updates.
The update introduces a hard mode available to all base game owners without requiring the expansion purchase. It adds a save transfer feature allowing players to start a new game while keeping their character, pawn, and select attributes, alongside a new Pathfinder pawn specialization.
Technical enhancements include official support for enhanced PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro. Steam players receive FSR 3 frame generation, DLSS Super Resolution version 4.5, DLSS multi-frame generation capabilities, and full DualSense controller feature support.
Dark Arisen will cost 29,99€ separately, while a bundle combining the base game and expansion will cost 49,99€ on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, which is also the pricing for the Switch 2 release.
