Key information
The Pokémon Go "Fall Marathon: Buddy Trek" event is scheduled to run from Oct. 13-19. This celebration introduces Bramblin to the game for the first time and marks the debut of Super Max Level for Mega Manectric.
Players can encounter Bramblin via Incense, through specific Field Research tasks, or by reaching ranks 30 and 60 in the event Go Pass. To evolve Bramblin into Brambleghast, trainers must collect 50 Bramblin Candy and walk 20 km with the Pokémon as their buddy. Currently, Bramblin is not available in its shiny form.
Mega Manectric gains the ability to reach the fourth tier, Super Max Level, during this event. When Mega Evolved, it will know the move Discharge+. Additionally, reaching rank 20 in the Go Pass grants 5x Mega Energy when exploring with Electrike or Manectric as a buddy, provided the player has Mega Evolved Manectric at least once.
The event includes a Go Pass with 60 total ranks and Timed Research that rewards a Pikachu wearing a marathon visor. Field Research tasks obtained from PokéStops offer encounters with Electrike, Bramblin, Doduo, or Cacnea, alongside opportunities to earn Rare Candy or Manectric Mega Energy.
