Key information
The North American rating board ESRB has officially listed the PlayStation 5 version of the cooperative climbing game PEAK. Developed by Aggro Crab and Landfall, the title supports up to four players and currently holds a very positive rating on Steam.
Gameplay involves players working together to scale mountains while gathering items and tools. The experience features survival mechanics where minor mistakes can prove fatal, alongside obstacles like zombies and spiders. Notably, the game includes a cannibalism mechanic where players may perceive companions as roast chicken when starving, complete with cartoonish bone visuals.
The ESRB has assigned the game an E10+ rating, citing fantasy violence and interactive user elements. While the PC version previously received updates to adjust the intensity of its cannibalism features, the PS5 release appears to retain these core mechanics.
Following the release of the final major update, THE FINAL ASCENT, in August 2026, the developers shifted their focus toward console development. The recent rating confirms progress on the PlayStation 5 port, which is expected to support cross-platform play.
