As the sandbox MMO Pax Dei approaches its first anniversary, the development team has announced a significant quality-of-life improvement for its player base. The studio confirmed that plot tokens will no longer expire, removing the previous restriction that required players to use these items within 12 months of acquisition.

This policy change is effective immediately and applies to all plot tokens, including those currently held by players. While the tokens themselves are now permanent, the studio clarified that using a token to claim or extend a plot will continue to provide 30 days of plot time, maintaining the existing duration mechanics.

Beyond the updates to land management, the developers are preparing to introduce horse mounts to the game. This feature is currently available for testing on the game's test server.

Once the mount system officially launches, players will gain the ability to craft various types of saddles, name their horses, and progress through a new riding skill tree.
