Key information

Jagex has revealed its plans for Old School RuneScape following announcements made at Runefest, though the majority of these upcoming features remain subject to player poll responses.

The Fractured Archive raid launches on Tuesday, October 20th. This encounter challenges high-level players and teams to defend Guthix’s collection from thieves attempting to steal its contents.

On Wednesday, November 4th, Jagex will introduce Hardcore worlds. These permanent, separate servers feature single-life characters who must either restart from scratch upon death or transfer to a standard world while losing items dropped on death.

Additional proposed content includes Dungeons of Gielinor, which adds five new boss fights to existing dungeons, and the opening of Menaphos the Golden City to advance the Kharidian storyline with a grandmaster quest and soul rune crafting.

Other proposed additions feature the Fairytale III: Nexus of Power quest line, the Chosen Commander quest in Dorgesh-Kaan, remasters for Smithing and Mining, and a preview for the Tower of Xophros.
