The vibe coding approach involves users describing their desired outcomes to an AI, which then handles the writing, construction, and implementation of the underlying code. Epic Games adopted this strategy because they noted that programming is difficult.
According to the developer, this new iteration offers a faster and more responsive experience compared to the current version. It features a refreshed aesthetic and includes a shopping cart, although the company acknowledges that the preview currently lacks many features.
Epic Games claims that the new launcher provides superior navigation fluidity. Furthermore, the company states that the software is 46% faster than Steam.
