Key information
Haris Orkin, a writer for Resident Evil Requiem, stated during a Meadowlark Comic Con interview that the upcoming story DLC will delve deeper into Ozwell E. Spencer, the founder of the Umbrella Corporation. The interview was published via the Distance NERDing Podcast & Comic Cons channel, published on 7 outubro de 2026.
Orkin noted that while Requiem touches upon Spencer, the additional content will provide players with a better understanding of the character. The writer later remarked that he likely should not have shared that information. Capcom previously confirmed a story expansion for the title but has not officially detailed its plot, nor has the company commented on Orkin's remarks.
The remarks imply that Spencer's role will extend beyond the main campaign, potentially expanding on his past and ties to the franchise. Orkin previously worked on Shadows of Rose, the story expansion for Resident Evil Village.
