Key information
Rockstar has intensified the promotion of GTA 6 by releasing several unreleased images that highlight the criminal protagonists Lucia and Jason. The dynamic duo appears in four new pictures published by Love Magazine, which also features an illustration of the couple on its cover.
The released photos showcase various scenes, including a black-and-white picture of the pair in casual attire, images of them seated face-to-face at a diner table with a large bag present, and pictures of them playing pool in a biker bar while wearing stylish clothing.
Rockstar's senior vice president of narrative, Rupert Humphries, discussed the characters' pursuit of the American Dream in GTA 6, describing it as a desire to own a home and pay off debts rather than become billionaires. Writers Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern and Alexa D’Agostino also shared insights into making the protagonists vulnerable, imperfect, and authentic team members.
In connection with the marketing push, the Miami Heat announced a themed NBA game against the Milwaukee Bucks titled "A Night in Vice City." The single-night event, broadcast live on ESPN, features the home team wearing a new uniform on a novel court.
