Key information
On September 29, the official Love and Deepspace social media account shared themed drink recipes inspired by the game's characters. These recipes included ingredients derived from toxic plants, specifically Gloriosa superba and Datura, to represent characters like Rafayel and Sylus.
Community members quickly identified the severe health risks associated with these botanical ingredients. Despite the inclusion of safe components like lavender and blackberry juice, users warned that the recipes were dangerous to consume.
The game's official account subsequently issued a safety notice clarifying that the drinks were purely fictional and intended only for in-game purposes. They explicitly urged fans not to attempt to recreate or consume these beverages in real life.
This incident follows previous community tensions, including a controversy regarding the character Valko. Despite such challenges, the title remains a highly profitable global phenomenon, with GameSpot noting the massive, viral popularity of its fanbase during the 2025 GamesCom event.
