Key information
KOMODO has officially rebranded its digital manga platform, formerly known as NIUHI, to KOMODO Manga & Comics. The service has now migrated to the KOMODO STATION platform, which serves as a centralized hub for games, hardware, and digital comics.
This transition aims to expand the reach of independent creators to a global audience. Readers in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan can now access diverse international content alongside games and software within a single ecosystem. Existing NIUHI users retain access to their previously purchased titles via their personal library on KOMODO STATION.
To mark the launch, the platform released the English and first official Japanese versions of "Grey is..." by Jordan-based creator dee Juusan. This title previously received a bronze award at the 18th Japan International Manga Award. The platform will also publish a two-part exclusive interview with the author, with the second installment scheduled for October 20.
Starting tomorrow, the service will feature winning entries from the "Indie Manga Contest." Furthermore, KOMODO plans to release new titles every Tuesday through the end of the year to provide consistent updates for its international readership.
