Nintendo prepares a specialized hardware lineup to celebrate the franchise anniversary and an upcoming remake project. The themed collection launches on Oct. 29, preceding the software release by a week.
Announced during a September Nintendo Direct showcase, the hardware and controllers showcase a black, gold, and green palette inspired by Link and the Triforce of Courage. The aesthetic incorporates triangle decals alongside the Hylian Crest and Triforce symbol. Bundles include themed controllers, while additional accessories feature a Pro Controller with a Hyrule Castle display stand, plus a carrying case and screen protector set.
Availability remains scarce amid intense anticipation. The anniversary console is priced at $519.99, while the exclusive Pro Controller with stand costs $109.99 and a standard variant reaches $99.99. The carrying case and screen protector bundle retails for $39.99. All items are currently sold out following pre-orders.
The rollout coincides with Nintendo raising the standard base console price to $499.99, following earlier hardware hikes in 2025 driven by industry-wide AI component shortages. Meanwhile, the Ocarina of Time remake arrives on Nov. 5, and a live-action film wrapped production in spring 2026.
