Razer has unveiled the Basilisk V4 gaming mouse, available in two distinct models: the Basilisk V4 Pro and the more affordable Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed. The Pro version carries an MSRP of $170, while the HyperSpeed model is priced at $110.

The Pro variant features a 50K optical sensor capable of 930 IPS tracking and 90G acceleration, complemented by Frame Sync technology. The HyperSpeed model utilizes a 33K, 500 IPS sensor. Both devices support 8K polling rates in wired and wireless configurations.

A notable addition is the "Perfect 180" feature, configurable via Razer Synapse software on one of the four side buttons. Designed for low-sensitivity gaming, this function instantly rotates the user's aim 180 degrees. The author suggests this capability may prove controversial, potentially drawing comparisons to Snap Tap or SOCD features.

The hardware includes Gen-4 tactile switches and a four-way tilt scroll wheel with a free-spin mode. Battery life reaches up to 200 hours on a HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 connection at 1,000 Hz, or 275 hours via Bluetooth 6.2. Wireless charging is supported through the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro or compatible mouse pads.
