Key information

League of Legends Classic patch 5 arrives alongside the LoL 26.20 update on Wednesday October 7, according to Game Designer David 'Phreak' Turley. Phreak, who is accountable for champion release quality, detailed five new throwback characters joining the MOBA: Aatrox, Irelia, Karma, Quinn, and Caitlyn. Each features meaningful reworks from their modern forms.

Aatrox receives a full rework restoring his original design, featuring self-damaging abilities that fill a Blood Well to boost attack speed and revive him upon death. Irelia also returns with a significantly different kit, featuring Hiten Style heals and Transcendent Blades. Karma brings her original abilities, including Spirit Bond, which Phreak described as one of the worst-designed spells Riot ever released due to its awkward learning curve.

Quinn and Valor feature notable tweaks, such as a modified Vault range and the removal of randomness from Harrier's cooldown. Caitlyn receives a partial rework with adjustments to her Yordle Snap Trap radius. Balance changes include large nerfs to Graves, power reductions for Fizz and Fiora, and buffs for Nautilus and Kennen.
