Key information
Netflix has officially unveiled the trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of C.S. Lewis's The Magician's Nephew. This production serves as the first entry in a three-film deal signed between director Greta Gerwig and the streaming platform.
The narrative follows protagonists Digory and Polly as they encounter Digory's uncle, Andrew. This meeting leads the pair on a journey across various magical worlds where they encounter numerous fantastical characters.
Although this story is the sixth book published within The Chronicles of Narnia series, the events depicted take place chronologically before all other entries in the literary collection.
The film is scheduled to debut in theaters on February 11, 2027. Following its theatrical run, the movie will be made available on the Netflix streaming service starting April 2, 2027.
