Key information
Nolan North, the voice actor behind Nathan Drake, has stated that he would gladly return to his iconic role if approached for a potential Uncharted 5. Speaking at Gamergy in Puerto Rico, North shared that he is keeping himself in shape just in case Sony decides to make the call.
While Sony has not yet officially announced a new Uncharted installment, Naughty Dog confirmed multiple games are currently in development. Reports suggest that Shaun Escayg, director of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is leading a team on a new entry in the adventure franchise alongside the studio's other projects like Intergalactic: Heretic Prophet.
North expressed deep optimism about the prospect, noting it could be one of the biggest video game announcements in history, provided the studio avoids pitfalls similar to the fourth Indiana Jones film. It has been a decade since Uncharted 4 concluded Nathan Drake's adventures.
