Key information

A demo for the roguelike action game Gotcha! Survivor is now available on Steam. The project is produced and supervised by game streamer FB777, developed by creator Bestman, and published by Unite. A full release is currently scheduled for later this year.

The game follows the Vampire Survivors-like formula, where players control an automatically attacking character to defeat waves of enemies. As players level up during combat, they acquire various skills and stat enhancements to build their character's capabilities.

A core mechanic involves toggling between Light and Dark attributes. Players can absorb incoming white light attacks while in a light state or black dark attacks while in a dark state to restore health. This system encourages players to absorb unavoidable bullet hell patterns rather than dodging them. Successfully absorbing attacks eventually allows the player to unleash a unique Burst special move.

Players earn points to pull from a gacha system, which provides characters and accessories. The demo features four initial characters, though the full game promises over 25. Each character possesses unique starting and passive skills, and players can equip up to three accessories to further boost their stats.
