Key information
Actor Charlie Cox, recognized for his role as Daredevil and his voice work in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, recently confirmed his participation in an upcoming, unannounced Sega video game. Cox shared this news during an interview at New York Comic-Con 2026.
The project required a significant time commitment, with Cox recording approximately 40 hours of dialogue. The actor noted that the production team initially expected an American accent, which presented a challenge as he had to perform the extensive script in that dialect without prior preparation.
While Cox previously mentioned earlier this year that he was recording for a new game, the specific title remains undisclosed. Speculation regarding the project's identity persists, though major upcoming Sega titles like Stranger than Heaven are already known to the public.
The actor continues to balance his gaming work with his television career, as the third season of Daredevil: Born Again is slated for 2027. Sega has previously demonstrated an interest in casting high-profile talent for their titles, such as David Harbour for Total War: Warhammer 40K.
