Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Rise has exceeded 20 million units sold globally. This milestone reflects a steady sales performance for the title, which added 700,000 units to its total between June and September 2026.
The game originally debuted on Nintendo Switch in March 2021. It subsequently expanded to PC in January 2022, followed by releases on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One in January 2023.
Despite following the global success of Monster Hunter World and the 2025 arrival of Monster Hunter Wilds, the title maintains consistent long-term sales. Some players reportedly dissatisfied with Wilds have returned to Rise to satisfy their interest in the franchise.
The sustained commercial momentum of the game demonstrates its enduring appeal within the series, even as newer entries enter the market and influence player engagement trends.
