Key information
At the Osaka Indie Games Summit 2026, held on October 3 and 4, 2026, at Congres Square Grand Front Osaka, Antwerp-based indie studio BiteMe Games exhibited two titles: the currently available MMO98 and the upcoming Silicon Architect.
Released on Steam on April 20, 2026, with Japanese language support, MMO98 is an incremental simulation where players manage a small MMO development studio. The game features a 1990s PC desktop interface complete with a server purchasing tool, an IRC chat window displaying simulated player comments, and stats dashboards.
The studio's unreleased work-in-progress title, Silicon Architect, adopts a Windows XP-style UI for a hardware engineering incremental game. Players act as CPU engineers, placing components like cores, caches, and ALUs onto a grid to design custom processors while balancing performance and thermal output.
According to BiteMe Games, a playable demo close to the OIGS 2026 version is currently available on Steam, with participation planned for the October Steam Next Fest. The full version of Silicon Architect is scheduled for release in late January 2027 priced at 699 yen, featuring a launch discount of 10 percent at 629 yen and Japanese language support.
