Starting October 14, 2026, MLB PRO SPIRIT will launch a series of events to commemorate its second anniversary. The game's main visual will be updated to feature cover athlete Shohei Ohtani, who also arrives as new player cards in both pitcher and designated hitter versions.
Players can participate in the SHOTIME '26 login bonus to obtain Ohtani cards. Additionally, a special login campaign curated by former Japanese professional baseball player Kenshi Sugiya offers six high-level G-IV player cards. Sugiya has shared his selection rationale in a video on his YouTube channel, Netsugiya ch.
The anniversary celebration includes a free daily 10-recruit event, allowing players to perform up to 14 sets of 10 recruits across two waves. Furthermore, a commemorative election event will feature top-voted MLB players on special signature cards, with a guaranteed Pick Up player from a selected team on the fourth 10-recruit attempt.
Additional anniversary content includes special missions rewarding up to 60,000 Ace Tokens, login rewards like G-III contracts, and a temporary boost that doubles player experience points earned during matches. These events run through various dates, with the main anniversary period extending until March 2027.
