Key information

Arc System Works has unveiled the full Year One DLC lineup for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Following the July announcement of Phoenix Cyclops, who joins the roster on November 2nd, the developer confirmed three additional fighters: Jane Foster's Thor, Venom, and Jubilee. The reveal was accompanied by an illustration from Peach Momoko.

The roster additions offer a mix of classic and variant characters. Jane Foster, appearing as Thor, fills a notable gap in the Avengers lineup. While speculation suggested the pass might focus on alternate versions like Agent Venom, the game will feature Eddie Brock as Venom, accompanied by the new Klyntar stage. Jubilee will also join the game, marking her first appearance as a playable character in a fighting game.

The Year One content rollout is scheduled to continue through Summer 2027. Jane Foster is expected in Winter, likely January, followed by Venom in Spring, likely May, and Jubilee in Summer, likely August. The developer's history suggests these seasonal windows may be subject to flexible interpretation.

The game has faced technical and availability hurdles. The open beta experienced significant PC performance issues, leading to an apology from Arc System Works. Additionally, the title remains restricted from purchase in 117 countries according to Steam's backend data.
