Tribute Games and Dotemu have announced that Marvel Cosmic Invasion will receive a new paid downloadable content pack titled The Siege of Castle Doom. This expansion is scheduled for release on November 10.
The update introduces two playable characters to the beat 'em up roster. The Invisible Woman, Susan Storm, utilizes energy shields for defense and excels at mid-to-long-range combat. Victor Von Doom, or Doctor Doom, joins the fray using his advanced armor technology and hidden abilities to dominate the battlefield.
Beyond the new characters, the DLC adds a game mode also named The Siege of Castle Doom. While the developer has not yet detailed the specific mechanics of this mode, it is confirmed to be centered around Doctor Doom.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam. The developers aim for this content to extend the longevity of the classic-style action title.
