Key information
Team Falcons has officially secured Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov with a contract extension lasting until 2030. This multi-year agreement, announced on Monday, October 12, ensures the Russian AWPer remains with the organization following his pivotal role in their IEM Cologne Major victory.
Since joining from G2 Esports in April 2025, m0NESY has maintained a 1.29 rating. His performance culminated in an MVP award at the June Major, providing the breakthrough trophy the team sought. The organization did not disclose the specific financial details regarding this long-term commitment.
The roster, featuring Finn “karrigan” Andersen, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, René “TeSeS” Madsen, and Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin under coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen, aims to build on this momentum. This continuity is central to the club's broader Counter-Strike 2 ambitions as they look to defend their title.
Falcons is now preparing for the Thunderpick World Championship starting October 14, followed by IEM Beijing. Looking further ahead, the team is targeting the next Major in Singapore, where m0NESY will continue to serve as a key component of their competitive strategy.
