Key information

Ubisoft has announced that its mobile title, Rainbow Six Mobile, will officially terminate operations on January 15, 2027. This decision marks a short lifespan for the game, which will have been available for less than one year following its global launch.

The game underwent a lengthy development process, beginning with closed beta testing in 2022. Although it remained accessible in certain regions after a 2023 test, the official global release was delayed until February 2026. The title will conclude its service after only eight months of global availability.

Ubisoft Montreal, the studio responsible for the project, expressed gratitude to the community for their contributions across 15 seasons of content. The developers confirmed that the final season will proceed as scheduled before the team shifts focus toward other long-term strategic initiatives.

Despite the upcoming closure, the game achieved significant reach on mobile platforms, with Google Play Store data indicating that Rainbow Six Mobile surpassed 10 million cumulative downloads.
