Key information
During a one-hour appearance on the podcast Koji10, developer Hideo Kojima shared details about the espionage game Physint, which will be financed by Xbox and symbolically coincides with his 40 years in the industry since entering in 1986. Kojima approaches the project with the conviction that it could be his final work.
The collaboration with main actor and playable character Bill Skarsgård originated through the agency of Death Stranding composer Ludvig Forssell after Skarsgård visited the office and expressed admiration for Kojima's games. Skarsgård's facial and body scanning is complete, and Kojima noted that approximately 70% of the total cast consists of renowned actors and creatives who are fans of Kojima's games and personally requested to participate.
Confirmed cast members include Bill Skarsgård, Charlee Fraser, Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok), and Minami Hamabe, alongside an extensive roster yet to be revealed. Kojima noted that developing a game with this level of technology takes about four years, and the actor scanning process will continue gradually throughout this year and the next.
