Key information
PC Gamer recently provided a status report covering Steam's 20 most-wishlisted titles as the year progresses toward late 2026. The coverage examines shifting release schedules, silent developers, and recent updates across the platform's most anticipated upcoming games.
Several titles received substantial mechanical or content additions recently. Deadlines and patches include a massive visual update and six new heroes arriving on Oct 2, alongside pre-alpha Soulframe patches in September, and a DLC featuring a chain weapon against Swarmions.
While some projects show steady communication, material limitations affect others. Multiple games feature unspecific 2026 or 2027 release windows without exact months, while several titles lack any fresh announcements beyond older updates from March, August, or July.
Regarding availability, specific launches remain scheduled for October 28 and February 2027, and Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC releases on Oct 8. Meanwhile, Mollie reported positive personal impressions after playing a title at Gamescom, noting giddy feelings reminiscent of Persona 4 Golden.
