Key information
An individual known as CyberLeek has threatened to release a playable version of Grand Theft Auto 6. This warning follows the publication of a 25-minute gameplay video on the leaker's website, which Eurogamer confirmed as authentic.
The leaked footage displays unfinished segments featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia. CyberLeek claims that if their cryptocurrency reaches a valuation of 30 million dollars, they will distribute a version containing the entire story from start to finish.
The leaker has offered Take-Two an alternative to prevent this release: the company must issue a public apology and commit to launching the title on physical discs.
Rockstar Games described the unauthorized exposure as distressing for its development team. Take-Two is actively seeking the perpetrator and has requested information from Discord to identify the source. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
