Key information
Ubisoft has officially released Just Dance: Era Hits, a new music game featuring tracks spanning six distinct decades. The title is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, with a free upgrade path provided for existing Nintendo Switch owners.
The game includes 35 classic songs and introduces a new Adventure Mode. In this mode, players join Lyra, the daughter of Dr. Gigavolt, on a journey through six themed worlds to rescue her father. Players can also utilize a Party Mode for unpredictable gameplay or a Sweat Mode to track calories burned during dance sessions.
Designed for social play, the game supports up to six players locally. Users can employ smartphones as controllers via the Just Dance Controller app, which requires iOS 14.4 or Android 9 or higher. While Xbox and PlayStation players must use the app for motion tracking, Switch users utilize it to enable Camera Controller mode.
Players who own both this title and Just Dance 2023–2026 can consolidate their song libraries on a single console. This integration includes purchased song packs and content accessed through the Just Dance+ subscription service, which requires an active internet connection and a linked Ubisoft account.
