At New York Comic Con, Nitrate Games debuted the first trailer and details for Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture. This upcoming title offers a comedic, raunchy take on the cozy farming simulation genre, tasking players with establishing a successful weed farm.
The gameplay focuses on cultivating and expanding operations while navigating an original narrative penned by Ernie Altbacker. According to co-founder Montana Sommese, the game functions as a sequel to the View Askewniverse, allowing players to interact with iconic characters from Kevin Smith’s filmography.
The roster of returning characters includes figures from Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma, such as Dante, Randal, Brodie, and Azrael. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have served as creative forces throughout the development process.
The project is currently entering its playtesting phase. A release on Steam for PC is anticipated for late Spring 2027, with a console version also scheduled for 2027. Interested fans can currently wishlist the title or register for playtesting.
