At New York Comic Con, Nitrate Games debuted the first trailer and details for Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture. This upcoming title offers a comedic, raunchy take on the cozy farming simulation genre, tasking players with building a successful weed farm.
The game features an original narrative penned by Ernie Altbacker, serving as a direct continuation of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse. Players will manage cultivation operations while interacting with iconic characters from films like Clerks, Mallrats, and Dogma.
Creative leads Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have been involved since the project's inception. Nitrate Games co-founder Montana Sommese confirmed that the studio plans to expand this cinematic universe through ongoing narrative updates following the initial launch.
The project is currently entering its playtesting phase. A release on Steam for PC is scheduled for late Spring 2027, with a console version also expected to arrive sometime in 2027.
