A free update for all users will launch simultaneously, though specific content details remain undisclosed.
Technical specifications for the PS5 version include a 30FPS Quality mode at 4K resolution and a 60FPS Performance mode. The release supports cross-platform play, cross-saves, and shared user-generated content like liveries and tuning setups across all platforms.
In a five-star review, Dom praised the open-world racer for representing the developer at its peak. The reviewer noted that the game finally fulfills the potential established by the original series entry from October 2012, calling it a highlight among racing experiences.
