Key information

Hello Games has officially announced that the open-world survival title No Man's Sky will launch for iOS on October 29. The mobile version is currently available for pre-order on the App Store and will offer a free trial period for the early stages of the game upon release.

The iOS release includes all major updates from the past 10 years, including the recent COSMOS expansion. This update introduces new space exploration features, such as customizable space stations and additional outposts that provide new quests for players to undertake.

Developers rebuilt the touch controls specifically for mobile devices, though the game also supports controllers, mouse, and keyboard input on iPad. While the game features console-quality graphics and Metal FX, it is limited to single-player experiences. Additionally, specific features like planetary settlements are restricted to iPhone 15 Pro models and newer.

The game is compatible with iPhone 11 and third-generation iPad Air models or newer, with a total download size under 5GB. The project originated from the development team's belief that the game could run on iPhones following the 2023 Mac release.
