Developer Quarter Up and publisher Skybound Games are completing the first year of content for Invincible VS with the addition of Angstrom Levy, following previous characters Universa and the Immortal.
In the game, Angstrom Levy utilizes multiversal technology to manipulate matches through portals that can absorb projectiles, teleport them to more advantageous locations, or forcefully relocate opponents on impact.
While the press release from Quarter Up and Skybound claims Invincible VS is the first major game to adapt Robert Kirkman's comic, this marketing point overlooks Ubisoft's 2024 mobile RPG Invincible: Guarding The Globe. Meanwhile, Invincible VS reportedly dropped to 40 concurrent players daily on Steam, leading to a reported 75 percent staff reduction at the studio.
Season 2 for Invincible VS is scheduled to launch on October 13. Attendees at EVO France 2026 in Nice will be able to play Angstrom Levy early at Quarter Up's arcade stations.
