Key information
A daily Grand Theft Auto 5 modding project has introduced a fresh modification called ScamV into the game environment. The creator notes that ScamV aims to turn Los Santos into a digital playground where players can act as cyber-criminals, exploit vulnerabilities, use cloned cards, and build an underground fortune.
Upon launching the heavily modified game, the player character Franklin spawns inside his apartment and immediately begins falling into an abyss while carrying a mysterious duffel bag. The author suspects this unexpected accessory is a byproduct of installing ScamV alongside an armageddon of conflicting modifications such as flying cars and deleted exteriors.
The modification technically allows players to walk into any bank and interact with tellers to deposit fake cheques. However, when the author attempted this feature, the game responded that no fake cheques were owned, while failing to provide any instructions on how to acquire them.
The creator humorously rates this confusing experience five stars and describes the situation as Kafka-esque. Due to the massive accumulation of various modifications, the game currently launches exclusively in windowed mode and features additional elements like tornadoes and altered vehicle physics.
