Key information
A writer at PC Gamer is modifying Grand Theft Auto 5 daily as part of a personal project to either reshape it into a personal vision of GTA 6 or break it entirely.
The author noted that the male characters in Grand Theft Auto 5 lack grace, moving like young children who are unaccustomed to their bulk. To fix this perceived lack of elegance, the writer installed a modification named Back Flip Mod, designed for the single-player portion of the title.
Triggering the modification requires pressing the page down key, which causes the characters in Los Santos to perform a backflip in place and subsequently display a sense of satisfaction. However, the creator of the mod warned that a maneuver can fail and lead to a character ragdolling. During testing, the author observed that failures frequently occur right at the initiation of the attempt rather than mid-air, causing the character to collapse instantly without moving.
The author has also experimented with other modifications for Grand Theft Auto 5, such as transforming the title into a golf simulator and disabling car friction entirely.
