The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is available today on Xbox Series X|S and PC, supporting Xbox Play Anywhere and shared saves. The title blends exploration, resource management, and arcade-inspired brawler combat rooted in AMC's television universe and the All Out War storyline against the Saviors.
Players select from distinct characters including Rick, Daryl, and Michonne, with Negan available as an unlockable fighter. Each survivor features a unique signature weapon, custom animations, and a dedicated skill tree. Rick wields a magnum focused on long-range ammo management, Michonne utilizes a katana for close-quarters combat, and Daryl employs a crossbow for positional ranged thinning.
Combat differentiates between overwhelming walker hordes that push constant pressure and tactical Savior opponents who block, shoot from afar, and use undead crowds as cover. Environments also function as active systems, offering hazards or advantages depending on player positioning during multi-phase boss battles against foes like Simon and Negan.
Reaching the end credits unlocks the ability to replay levels with any character, including branching skill paths and higher difficulties that transform chaotic encounters into tactical positioning puzzles. An optional Easy Mode is also included for more casual play sessions.
