Sony has revealed the latest additions to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs for October. The selection features a variety of titles ranging from modern releases to classic games intended to fit the Halloween season.
The lineup includes several notable titles arriving throughout the month. Horizon Forbidden West returns to the service on 20th October for PS4 and PS5, while Mafia: The Old Country, Dino Crisis 2, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition also join on that date. Later in the month, players can access The Midnight Walk, Poppy's Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition, and Monster Energy Supercross 25.
The month's primary day-one release is Mycopunk, a co-op looter shooter featuring robot characters. Additionally, Mafia: The Old Country is highlighted for its shift toward a more focused structure compared to previous open-world entries in the series, a change that received positive feedback in Eurogamer's review.
The service additions aim to provide seasonal variety, with titles like The Midnight Walk and Poppy's Playtime offering horror elements. Dino Crisis 2 is also included as a classic option, noted for its intense encounters despite being less focused on traditional survival horror mechanics than its predecessor.
