Key information
Bandai Namco has shared a new gameplay trailer for Gundam Rogue Orbit, offering a roughly three-and-a-half-minute walkthrough of a typical mission. The footage demonstrates the step-by-step process, beginning on a ship's bridge where players accept an assignment before moving out to handle combat.
In the demonstration, Nazuna tasks the player character with landing the Stellarvane near Mars by fighting off surrounding hostile APCs using a Gundam. The primary objective requires the player to defeat all enemies in the area. Additionally, the trailer showcases the MS Settings customization system, allowing players to select weapons, AP Units, a Thruster Unit, Modules, and various parts of the Outer Frame, while managing Generator limitations that restrict overall mech specifications.
Alongside the game, an anime series titled Gundam RG XARX-ZERO was revealed in July 2026. Set in the same universe, it serves as a prequel for the Apocalypse timeline and carries a 2027 launch window, though its exact release timing remains uncertain.
Gundam Rogue Orbit is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 5, 2027, for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
