Key information
Rockstar Games has launched a dedicated website offering a preview of the radio stations and musical tracks set to appear in GTA 6. The developer promises the title will feature the most extensive selection of in-game radio to date, with various celebrities serving as station hosts.
Confirmed stations include Cocoteo FM, which focuses on modern Latin music, and Back Country Radio, featuring renegade country tracks. Other revealed stations are AfroBank FM for African music, The Chamber 106.6 for metal, Flash FM for pop, and Dirty South Classics for regional hip-hop. These stations feature notable contributors such as Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey, and Burna Boy.
A significant gameplay change allows players to listen to radio stations and on-demand podcasts while on foot. By utilizing a smartphone and headphones, users can access audio content during exploration or combat, moving beyond the previous limitation of restricting radio playback to vehicles and specific buildings.
Beyond licensed music, Rockstar plans to release an album of original compositions for the game, with contributions from artists like Travis Scott and Keith Richards. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on November 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
