Key information

Bandai Namco and Kadokawa announced a new Grandista figure featuring Sadako from The Ring. The collectible item is scheduled to debut on October 8, 2026. Initially, the item will launch as a prize figure inside Japanese arcades before potentially seeing a worldwide release through retailers like the Amazon Banpresto store.

The upcoming collectible will stand at a height of almost 10 inches, measuring 25cm. Official promotional materials display her in a standing pose with her hair completely covering her face, wearing her traditional white dress while barefoot. She is depicted walking forward with her hands raised to grab anyone nearby.

This release follows several other merchandise items launched this year. FuRyu previously introduced a bunny girl version, while Bandai Namco revealed a smartphone and TV bust. Additionally, CCP Japan produced chibi models of the horror franchise icon.

The launch date in Japan is set for October 8, 2026. Although the original novel and movie reached a global audience, subsequent films like Sadako DX remained exclusive to Japan.
