Key information

Grand Theft Auto 6 has secured age ratings indicating it is intended for mature audiences, receiving an 18+ rating from PEGI alongside a Mature rating in the US. According to GamesRadar+, PEGI's classification was hastily deleted from the organisation's website after inadvertently revealing specific adult content and gameplay mechanics.

Regarding violence, PEGI reported a high degree of realism featuring bloody violence, with certain weapons capable of inflicting greater damage such as detailed decapitation and dismemberment. This marks a significant departure from older titles that primarily featured blood pools and standard physics-driven animations.

The classification also detailed frequent and prominent drug use, noting that players can use illegal drugs directly from their inventory. As an example, PEGI cited that cocaine can be carried and snorted straight from the player character's hand at any time during gameplay.

Additionally, the rating mentioned scenes of intercourse, sexual fetishes, and a strip club minigame allowing private dances where players can touch dancers. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for a console release on November 19, while its PC availability remains unannounced.
