Polyphony Digital announced the release date and trailer for the free Spec IV update during the third round of the GT World Series in Singapore, following an initial announcement at a State of Play.
The update arrives in two waves, scheduled for October and December, with the first wave deploying on Thursday, October 15, 2026. It introduces the new Japanese track Sports Land SUGO, measuring 3.7 km and located in Murata.
Six new vehicles join the game, featuring the 1994 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta, the 1986 Citroën 2CV Charleston, the 1987 Honda Civic Si Group A Version, the 2023 Honda Stepwgn Spada, the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Evo, and the electric Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo.
Additional features include a new Spec IV opening cinematic, a search service for used and legendary cars, a brand-specific driving challenge mode, a car viewer for photos, and a higher collector level limit.
