One year after the release of the original game, Ghost of Yōtei Edição Completa is now available on PS5. The complete edition combines the main story campaign, the Ghost of Yōtei Legends multiplayer mode, the new Most Wanted roguelike mode, and the Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion. The story alternates between the present and scenes from Atsu's earlier period on the main island.
To mark the release and the game's first anniversary, English voice actor Erika Ishii returned to discuss voicing Atsu. Ishii noted that there was a gap of at least a few months between recording the main campaign and returning for the expansion. The new Most Wanted roguelike mode also features fresh dialogue, offering a more mystical and intense non-canonical atmosphere akin to the multiplayer mode.
The expansion features flashbacks depicting two different periods of Atsu's life, requiring Ishii to utilize prior experiences and lived moments to shift between the character's past and present states. Additionally, Daisaku Tsuji returned to record new lines for the returning character Jin in the Most Wanted mode.
