Key information
Fractured: Conquest, the top-down reimagining of Fractured Online, has provided a development update regarding its upcoming playtest schedule. While the developers expressed gratitude for participants in the previous session, a specific date for the next round of testing remains unannounced. However, the team confirmed that more information regarding the next playtest will be shared throughout October.
The update highlights the visual design of melee units for the game's three distinct factions. These units are crafted to embody the specific ethos of their respective groups through unique materials and aesthetics. The Thorn and Wardens factions have nearly completed their character models, while the Order faction requires additional modeling work to finalize its appearance.
Designers are utilizing specific textures to differentiate the factions, incorporating elements such as layered metal armor, stone, and woven vines, or crystalline coverings. These visual choices are intended to reflect the core identity of each faction within the game's world.
Beyond the infantry units, the developers have released a preview of the new War Wagon. This vehicle is part of the broader preparation for the game's three-way battle system, which players will be able to experience once the next playtesting phase officially commences.
