Developer Eschatology Entertainment and publisher 4Divinity have released a playable demo for the action game Guns of Eschaton on Steam. The title is scheduled to launch in the year 2026.
Official descriptions characterize the title as a Souls-like FPS action game set in a post-apocalyptic western world designed by art director Viktor Antonov. Players control an ordinary mortal surviving against monsters using a Colt revolver, killer instinct, and determination.
Combat mechanics require careful bullet management and weapon handling since players cannot rely on standard shooter reflexes. Survival demands studying enemy weaknesses, utilizing various ammunition types, parries, dashes, and occult abilities.
