Key information

Forza Horizon 6 developer Playground Games has responded to its player community following months of silence regarding constructive feedback about the game. In a social media post, the studio acknowledged that it had not been communicating as much as possible, stating that it hears feedback about post-launch updates and is looking into future changes regarding in-game content and communication methods.

Upon its release, Forza Horizon 6 received critical acclaim, including a 10 out of 10 from IGN. However, content creators such as STEVIO2175, AR12Gaming, HokiHoshi, and Ericship 111 highlighted community frustrations over missing features from previous titles, recycled cars in Festival playlists, the absence of in-game voice chat, and a lack of overall developer engagement.

Regarding platforms, Microsoft and Playground have not announced an official release date for a PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 6, making its previously stated timeline for this year look increasingly unlikely. Meanwhile, a second team at Playground is developing the Fable reboot, scheduled for release on Xbox, PC, and PS5 on February 23, 2027.
